However, it wasn't until 1916 the saxophones got their model names as he started a Limited Company, Ltd Co.

In 1965 the King Saxophone brand was aquired by Seeburg Cooperation who sold it to Conn-Selmer in 1980 which also is the current owner of the King brand.
I personally own a King Zephyr Silver Alto from 1936 and even if it's an early Zephyr model I love it. Both for it's powerful output and history, but it also has a personal value to me as it was played by my grandfathers brother in their dancing band back in the 1940's when they played dances touring Sweden with Hillmans Orchestra.
